FAQ's

Frequently Asked Question's

What do we wear?

That is by far the question we get asked the most. With good reason, you are investing in beautiful portrait art for your home and you want to get it right. We want to focus on your faces and want the viewers' eyes to easily flow across your image and see your expression and not get stuck on your clothing choice. The simple answer is choosing a solid color or two coordinating colors. Darker or neutral tones work best.

Tips for a lasting wall portrait

~Classic clothes that will remain tasteful for years to come are always a good choice.

~Jeans or darker dress pants are usually a good base to build on.

~Basic black is still in style and very slimming, lighter colors and especially white is inclined add weight.

~Dark shoes or bare feet work well. Avoid white runners, they will tend stand out like a sore thumb.

How do I choose my portraits?

Prepare to be WOWED!! You will come back to our studio 3-7 days after being photographed. You can sit back and relax, get treated to a cool multi-media slideshow presentation of all your best images. From there we will help you select appropriately sized images for your walls and gifts for your family and friends.

Can we bring our pets?

We welcome your pets, they are part of your family and some days you may love them more than your husband or kids :)

Where are you located?

We are located in the heart of the Lakeland. Downtown Cold Lake South. 4921-52 Street. Just north of the Best Western Hotel.

Do you have packages?

We are an A La Carte studio. We have developed bonus levels for our clients to receive special discounts and unique products. We do not sell packages, we feel that clients tend to over purchase or buy images they don't really need just because "THAT" package comes with the one image they want.

How much does it cost?

I've heard our clients say, "That wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be, I know someone that spent thousands at your studio." Although that is true, some clients invest in beautiful décor pieces for their walls and spend a significant amount of money, but that is not every client. All our clients have individual wants and needs for their home and families; yes, you can spend hundreds or more, you decide what you want to invest. The old saying goes you get what you pay for and we deliver the finest quality and the best possible customer experience. At Images studios we are creating timeless personal portrait art that you will treasure for years to come.

Our portrait sessions start at $100. Wall portraits start as low as $320 and gift prints start at $38.

How far ahead do we need to book our session?

It is always good to book with as much notice as you can. Our spring, summer and fall evenings book up fairly quickly and weekends are limited. A lot of people in Cold Lake and surrounding area are shift workers so we can always fit you in, it may just take some time. The recommended advance booking is 2-4 weeks.

How do I book an appointment?

Give us a call here at the studio 780.594.3443. We will schedule a personal portrait consultation and go from there.

How types of payment do you take?

We take Visa, Master Card, Debit or Cash.

What is a Personal Portrait Consultation?

We like to start our relationship with a personal portrait consultation; this will assist us in getting to know you and help us to exceed your expectations. Together we discuss family dynamics and relationships, we discover what you portrait needs are and we can answer any questions that might come up before the day of your session. We schedule your portrait appointment and take payment of your session fee.

When will my portraits be ready?

4-6 weeks from the time you place your order you should have stunning personal portrait art hanging on your walls from Images Studios.

Moments are life's experiences, they are fleeting.  We live out our experiences in story, in memory and in imagery. How will you experience life, and how will it be remembered?
